MODEL 1 STEEL STRING GUITAR

These guitars are built to my 'model 1' shape. For me, it is the perfect shape: combining elegant “jumbo” style curves with an “OM” size body.

The 635mm (25”) scale length makes this a very easy guitar to play. However, if you are a player who uses alternative tunings, this guitar can also be built with a 650mm scale length. This gives more tension in the strings thus accommodating being tuned down.

You can see that the Model 1 guitar can be built to your individual requirements; the photos show the “standard” non-cutaway Model and 12 fret neck cutaway and left-handed variants.

As with all of my guitars, these are built to the highest standard from fine tonewoods, chosen for their acoustic and aesthetic qualities.
