MATCHING CLASSICAL GUITAR & BARITONE UKULELE

These two matching instruments were commissioned by Matt Bellamy and Morgan Nicholls of the highly acclaimed band, Muse.

The baritone ukulele and classical guitar are constructed from some of the most exotic tonewoods available, collected by Matt and Morgan during the course of one of their world tours. These include:

- Sinker redwood soundboards
- African Blackwood backs, sides, fingerboards and bridges
- Pink ivory bindings and rosettes - a sacred wood of the Zulu!
- 20,000 year old fossilised walrus tusk nuts and saddles.

The soundboards are French polished and the rest of the instruments are finished in Tru-oil.

The unique design of these instruments was the result of close collaboration between the clients and me.
